Bubby's Jewish Soul Food aims to build community through traditional Jewish food. Bubby's pairs classic Jewish recipes, sourced from family archives, with the best ingredients we can find to make delicious food that would make your bubby proud.
We do all of our baking in house at Bubby's Jewish Soul Food, including our Challah made with real eggs, our Babka with Ghirardelli chocolate and real butter (and lots of it), and our Rye with organic rye flour and our own sourdough starter.
Charlie and Jason founded Bubby's Jewish Soul Food after moving to San Antonio from Los Angeles, and missing all the Jewish fare of LA's thriving deli landscape. Charlie, heading up our bakery operations, has been perfecting his Jewish baked good skills for years, and Jason, heading up the Deli operations, has fond memories of working in a jewish deli in his native Phoenix.
